Kamina Brana, composed by carl orff.

Also known as Song of Bojland, it was originally the first stage work Trilogy of Triumph. It was written in 1935- 1936, performed in Frankfurt at the beginning of 1937, and later performed solo in oratorio, which is Orff's most famous masterpiece.

Its lyrics are selected from the13rd century poetry anthology found in the Berun monastery of Benedictine in Bavaria. * * * is divided into 25 movements, including soprano, tenor, bass, children's chorus, chorus and band (there are 14 movements as orchestra).

The lyrics are Latin, which are songs written by students about drinking, women and love. They are divided into three parts: 1. Spring, 2. Inn, 3. Love. There are pantomime movements during the performance, accompanied by clowns and dance scenes. The writing technique of this song is simple, abandoning the common counterpoint, theme expansion, variation and so on. , but using the voice of the same degree, octave and third degree, the sentence is repeated. It is a work with excellent sound effects, and now it is often quoted by film and television works (fragment 1, fragment 2).

Kamena Bulana is a mysterious poem in13rd century. It was hidden in a monastery in Bavaria for centuries, and once it was made public, it shocked the world. This is the best-preserved medieval poem with the highest artistic value.

As if it came from heaven, not from human beings. The 20th century German composer carl orff (carl orff 1895- 1982) lived in Bavaria for a long time. He selected 25 poems from this manuscript and composed this poem "bran poem", which is divided into three themes: "spring", "wine" and "love".

The overture is majestic and solemn, and the composer seems to be trying to build a temple by singing and listening. The first part of the official song "Spring" is light and bright, which means far away. The male and female voices in the chorus alternate like day and night changes in time series; The second "Pub", a secular scene, uses the actor's falsetto and tone sandhi.

It's like describing the world of people living in masked party scenes; But strangely, the jubilant scene seems to be as cold as a passing ghost; The third book, Love, has the catharsis of longing for love, the ode to love sadness and the simple singing of lust. Among them, "In the Balance" sung by a female voice is gorgeous and sad.

It became a classic at the concert. Composer carl orff added a new melody on the basis of inheriting the classical composition method. Under the influence of "expressionism", he used neo-primitivism elements and added percussion elements to the rhythm, which made Bran's poems perfectly combine medieval vagrancy with modern singing.

Bran's poems are full of amazing elements and drama. Full of majestic shouts and euphemistic hymns, it makes a surging sound like a raging torrent crashing on a rock, and it is like a gurgling stream winding to a soft grass beach. Band and singing complement each other; Shock percussion music is like the call of fate, which has a strong soul-knocking effect.

Bran's Poetry is a hymn of life, as if God's eyes were watching in the dark. Under the guidance of the three themes, motives such as "belief" and "death" are skillfully involved, and the tonality has both secular joy and epic momentum. The real motive implied in it is pity, regret and lament for the short life.

Rilke's poem is used to describe this work: "The true God of mercy, when he comes, is majestic and radiant, just like the gods. /stronger than the wind blowing on the stable ship. "

In the recording, there are two "Bran Poems" on the TAS list, which is what fans are most concerned about. Robert Shaw/Atlanta Symphony1980 recorded in Telarc won the TAS list, which is a record with drooling fans. Robert Shaw's freedom and confidence in the chorus works, coupled with the precise performance of super baritone Haggard (who also played the leading role in the Mata version), make this work present a complete face.

Producer Robert Woods, sound engineer Jack Leonard, recording location is Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Art Center. Another version of TAS is the stokowski/Houston Symphony recorded in the Capital (EMI), so interested friends might as well find it and listen to it for themselves.

And such a classic, Pleven and Seiji Ozawa have recorded more than one edition. Pleven has recorded two versions. One version is 1974 EMI's London symphony analog recording, which was produced by Christopher Bishop and recorded by Christopher Parker in the famous Kingsway Concert Hall.

This version is also a must-have version recognized by enthusiasts. Yao U's excellent performance evaluation as a CD director, tenor English and baritone Allen are all excellent, and the overall music is more vivid and detailed than the Philips version of Ozawa.

The other version is a new recording with Vienna Philharmonic 1993 in DG. BarbaraBonney, the soprano solo, performed well, with recording engineers Jobst Eberhardt, Jurgen Bulgrin and producer Christopher Alder. Obviously, Pleven highlights the elegant timbre of Vienna Philharmonic here, which is more abundant and natural under 4D recording. However, as this version is newly released, the comments of all parties are not clear.

Strictly speaking, Seiji Ozawa has recorded three versions, including Berlin Philharmonic 1989 (soprano Gabelova) in Philips, and won the excellent performance and recording evaluation of Penguin Samsung and the phonograph "Good CD Guide" (equivalent to Bronstedt). The effect of this digital recording far exceeds that of his previous RCA version of Boston 1969.

In addition, Ozawa released a DVD in Philips. The orchestra was still Berlin Philharmonic, but the soprano was changed to Katherine barto.

For those who pay more attention to musicality, Penguin Samsung Ribbon and Japanese famous song 300 are the first choices that can't be missed! Ou Man Di/Philadelphia CBS/ Sony version, medium price, very competitive with Penguin Samsung. Amandi interprets this song with a very slow beginning, which may be boring at first glance, but the music gets better and better with the change of lyrics, and the soloist has no stars.

The choir has achieved a good balance, and the voice of Philadelphia is not pursuing beautiful timbre here, but a harmonious feeling of soul washing and music blending. This is a completely different interpretation and should be heard.

1988 The recording made by Joffm/ Berlin German Opera House in DG has become a medium-priced version, and won the excellent performance of Penguin Samsung and the phonograph "Excellent CD Guide". The top 300 famous Japanese record art albums were rated as the best, which can be said to be the favorite version of fans. Even the reissued large-scale version still has quite good results.

The articulation and rhythm of the choir can be said to be unparalleled, and the soloists are golden cass: soprano Janovis and baritone Fisher Dieskau, who correctly convey the proper expression of the drama. Producer Hans Hirsch and sound engineer Klaus Scheibe.

EMI, a classical manufacturer, showed great interest in this track and produced eight versions. EMI/Philharmonia Orchestra Strings won the excellent performance evaluation of "Excellent CD Guide" for phonograph. After the first drum beat of Destiny, Goddess of the World, Muti brewed slowly at a slow speed, without venting his emotions at once, and his ability to control the chorus was extraordinary.

The performance of percussion group, especially cymbals, is quite eye-catching, which highlights the rhythm of "Bran's Poetry", not to mention the composer's personal guidance, and the sense of authority is beyond doubt. It's a potential version. The soprano Og has a light texture, but it has not been overshadowed by the orchestra. The sound engineer is Petersburg. According to the data, this version was recorded in 1980, but it was released in 1990 /9 1 at the latest.

I don't know whether the data reference error or other reasons lead to the slow release progress.

The EMI version of Wesset Most/ London Philharmonic Orchestra is a fairly new recording, which was recorded by the sound engineer JohnKurlander in the first studio of Abbey Road. It is also the latest set of "Trilogy of Victory" recordings, among which "Poems of Catulli" won the Penguin Tri-Star Flower Award.

Most of Weisai is interpreted with simple expressions and active rhythms, and the chorus part is very free, without the heavy feeling of the previous version. Soprano Hendricks used to play the leading role in Mataka, but now she sings more skillfully.

The recording by French conductor Plasson/Deluce Municipal Orchestra in EMI is probably the latest recording of this song, with a brand-new cover design, which won Penguin Samsung. Open Penguin Review and you can find that there are many versions of Samsung Review.

Among them, Deka's Bronsted/San Francisco Symphony 199 1 was highly praised by Penguin Samsung and the phonograph's "Excellent CD Guide", which is full of exquisite modern interpretation.

The digital recording of Mata 1980, the late conductor of RCA, is an ultra-low price version, and Penguin gave Samsung an evaluation. The lead singer lineup is not weak, and Han Trick and Haggard are impressively listed. Carlton (IMP) version of Hicox/ London Symphony Orchestra recorded the same orchestra as Pleven for the first time.

Penguin Samsung evaluation. There is also the Latkin/St. Louis RCA version, which is also Penguin Samsung. I found the most promising coloratura soprano Sumi Jo when recording Meta/London Philharmonic in Teldec, and also won Penguin Samsung.

Penguin has two versions: Duradi/Royal Philharmonic 1976 Decca. Although it was recorded in Kingsway Hall, the second edition (the fourth issue) was not effective, with only two stars. Gunzenhauser conducted the ultra-low-cost version of the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra Naxos. Due to the lack of indulgence,

So there are only two penguins. Wen Li/Chicago Symphony Orchestra's DG version won the Grammy Award for Best Chorus.
