Tang Dynasty: Li Shangyin
It was a long time ago that I met her, but since we separated, the time has become longer, the east wind is blowing and a hundred flowers are blooming.
Silkworms in spring will weave until they die, and candles will drain the wick every night.
In the morning, she saw her hair cloud changing in the mirror, but she bravely faced the cold of the moonlight with her evening song.
There are not many roads to Pengshan. Oh, Bluebird, listen! -Give me what she said! . (Pengshan Zuo Yi: Penglai)

This poem is full of pain, disappointment, lingering and persistent feelings from beginning to end. Every couplet in the poem is a reflection of this emotional state, but the specific artistic conception of each couplet is different. They repeatedly show the complex emotions throughout the poem from different sides, and at the same time reflect the psychological process with this complex emotion as its content vertically with their close connection. This continuous, implicit and profound lyricism successfully reproduces the deep affection in my heart.
Li Shangyin had similar descriptions in the first, third, fourth and fifth sentences of his previous poetry creation. The poet was inspired, inherited and used for reference by his predecessors. However, he did not simply imitate his predecessors, but took a big step forward with high creativity, transforming the original simple means of expression into more tortuous and vivid, so as to reflect richer and deeper thoughts and feelings. In fact, he has removed the old traces and become a new creation. It can be seen that the poet's rich literary accomplishment and exploration of artistic conception and means of expression are important conditions for the success of this poem.

Appreciation of Teachers' Day Poetry: Ji Hai's Miscellaneous Poems (5)

The vast sadness of parting extends to the setting sun, away from Beijing, riding a whip to the east, feeling that people are on earth.
I quit my job and go home, just like a flower falling from a branch, but this is not a heartless thing. It can be turned into the soil of spring and can also play a role in nurturing the next generation.
Appreciate:
The first two lyric narratives of this poem show the spirit of being bold and free and easy in infinite emotion. On the one hand, parting is sad. After all, after living in Beijing for many years, old friends are like clouds and the past is like smoke. On the other hand, parting is easy and pleasant. After all, I have escaped the shackles and can go back to the outside world to do other things. In this way, the sadness of parting and the joy of returning are intertwined, both "mighty parting" and "whipping the East"; There is daylight, the west and the vast horizon. These two paintings complement each other and make each other interesting, which is a true portrayal of the poet's mood that day.
"Falling red is not heartless, but turning into spring mud will protect flowers more." The poet turned from expressing his feelings of parting to expressing his ambition to serve the country. On the other hand, in Lu You's words: "Scattered into mud, crushed into dust, only the fragrance remains." Falling in love originally refers to the flowers blooming on the branches, but it is not something without feelings. Even if it turns into spring mud, it is willing to cultivate beautiful spring flowers to grow. Not for the unique fragrance, but to protect the flowers. It shows that although the poet is divorced from officialdom, he still cares about the fate of the country and never forgets his ambition to serve the country, so as to express his enthusiasm for caring for the country until his death. Fully express the poet's strong feelings and become a famous sentence handed down from generation to generation.
Falling flowers is by no means a heartless waste. The poet resigned from the director of the Ritual Department in order to go to his hometown to take charge of the academy, call his disciples to give lectures, pass on his studies and thoughts to the students, enlighten them with enthusiasm for change and vision for the future, and do his last bit for the country and the people. Flowers fall from their roots and turn into spring mud, which can breed a new spring, and the color and fragrance can be dedicated to the latecomers.

The green field hall occupies the splendor of things, and passers-by show you your home.
Your father is full of peaches and plums, so why plant a variety of flowers in front of the hall?
Appreciate:
The Green Field Hall is open, occupying the essence of everything. Passers-by said it was your father's home. Your father's students are all over the world. Why plant flowers in front of the house? This poem uses metonymy rhetoric, replacing students with peaches and plums, and the Green Field Hall refers to the house name of Pei Du in Tang Dynasty. This poem takes up the essence of everything by writing that Pei Du's house doesn't grow flowers (the house is conspicuous). It expresses praise for a teacher who is famous all over the world.
