Cao Zhi (192 ~ 232) was a poet in the Three Kingdoms period. Cao Cao's third son, Zijian, was named Wang Chen, who lost his mind and was known as Wang Chensi. Bozhou people. Cao Zhi was clever and alert when he was young. At the age of 19, he wrote the famous Ode to a Bronze Que. Cao Cao loves him very much and wants to be his heir several times. But his pure, aloof and laissez-faire behavior disappointed Cao Cao. After being suspected and persecuted by Cao Pi and his son, he died of depression at the age of 42. Cao Zhi is the most famous writer in Jian 'an literature. Some of his early works draw nutrition from the folk songs of Han Yuefu, reflect the pain of social unrest and people's displacement, and express his ideals and ambitions. The tone of the poem is cheerful and heroic, elegant and vigorous, such as Seeing Ying and White Horse. Most of his later works reflect his depressed and resentful feelings of unfulfilled ambition, and his words are generous, such as White Horse Wang Biao and Miscellaneous Poems. Cao Zhi's poetry is good at using metaphor, concise language and adopting Hua Mao's words, which represents the achievements of Jian 'an poetry and has a great influence on the development of five-character poetry. He is also good at words and prose, and his "Luo Shen Fu" is a masterpiece of lyric fu in Jian 'an period, which is both beautiful and full of myth.
