Flower language and implication of Oncidium

Oncidium, also known as auspicious orchid, dancing orchid, also known as dream orchid.

Of course, some friends say that Oncidium and Vanilla are not flowers. Everyone has a different opinion.

According to legend, when Song Meiling visited the White House, he fell in love with this flower at first sight, and found that the petals were very similar to the word "Ji" in China Chinese characters, which meant good luck, so he named it "Jixianglan".

Oncidium is bright in color and lovely in shape. Its slender stems are covered with small flowers shaped like flying butterflies, which have a faint fragrance when they bloom.

The flower language of Oncidium is happy and carefree, which means forgetting troubles, because it is also called auspicious orchid, which also represents good luck. There are so many blessed Oncidium, aren't you going to raise one?

Its maintenance skills are actually quite simple.

Oncidium likes loose, breathable and well-drained soil. Humus soil, charcoal and vermiculite can be used as nutrient soil. Of course, cranes use water moss as the substrate.

The crane uses a vegetarian burning basin, which is breathable and suitable for the growth of Oncidium. The elegance of the plain burning basin matches the gorgeous Oncidium very well.

Oncidium doesn't like bright sunshine. It is afraid of sunburn. It likes semi-cloudy environment. Sun protection is needed in spring, summer and autumn. In order to prevent the hot sun in summer from burning leaves, it can be placed on sunny windowsills and balconies in winter.

The growth temperature of Oncidium is 18℃-25℃, and it should be placed in a cool and ventilated place above 30℃ in summer, and the temperature should be kept above 15℃ in winter, and the minimum temperature should not be lower than 10℃ to avoid freezing injury.

In addition: Stop watering when the temperature is lower than 10℃.

Of course, this minimum temperature does not exist in the northern region where collective heating is provided. It is only 20℃ in the crane house now, but it is enough for Oncidium to grow. Look, how well it drives.

Oncidium is neither drought-tolerant nor afraid of humid environment. Maintenance should be dry and wet, keep the soil moist, and avoid water accumulation caused by excessive watering.

Oncidium is small and exquisite, and it is a very beautiful orchid with great ornamental value. It is one of the important varieties of cut orchids in the world, and it is actually a high-grade flower material for processing bouquets and small flower baskets.
