"Jian 'an Style", or "Jian 'an Style" and "Han and Wei Style", is a summary of the characteristics of Jian 'an literature by later generations.
"Style" is a theoretical proposition in Liu Xie's Wen Xin Diao Long. Its exact meaning has been debated in the theoretical circle, and there are great differences. Some people think that "wind" refers to the enlightenment function of the work, and "bone" refers to the content of the article; Some people think that "style" is "style"; Some people think that "wind" refers to strong emotions, and "bone" refers to the strength of the meaning expressed by well-structured words (Luo Zongqiang's History of Literary Thoughts in Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties). Some people think that "Character of Wind" is a complete unity of solemn and stirring, generous, rich and healthy ideological content and powerful language form.
The basic characteristics of literature in Jian 'an period are: it truly reflects the real turmoil and people's sufferings, and expresses the ideal of making contributions, but it also reveals the grief and indignation of short life and hard pay. It inherits the realistic tradition of Han Yuefu in artistic spirit and has a distinctive folk song style in form. The works are rich in content, grand in artistic conception, fluent in writing, with distinctive characteristics and personality of the times, forming a profound, generous and sad artistic style.
Cao Cao attached great importance to literature and played a decisive role in the prosperity of Jian 'an literature.
Jian 'an Qizi
The name of "Seven Scholars" first appeared in Cao Pi's Dian Lun paper, including seven poets: Kong Rong, Chen Lin, RoyceWong, Xu Gan, Ruan Yu, Angelababy and Serina Liu. Except Kong Rong, the other six people are attached to Cao Cao. They had close literary contacts with Cao Pi and Cao Zhi brothers, formed a literary group, and created the prosperity of Jian 'an literature.
Among them, RoyceWong and Serina Liu have made the most outstanding achievements.
