Do lyrics and songs belong to modern poetry?

Modern poetry, also known as metrical poetry or modern poetry, is a classification of poetry in ancient times, which has nothing to do with lyrics and songs.

Poetry is divided into ancient poetry and modern poetry because of its different styles.

Antique refers to the four-character archaic poems mainly based on The Book of Songs/Sao-style poems represented by Li Sao, Yuefu poems represented by Han Yuefu and five-character archaic poems represented by Nineteen Ancient Poems.

Modern poetry has quatrains and exorcism poems, such as five-character quatrains, seven-character quatrains, five-character quatrains and seven-character quatrains.

Ci-Qu is a style juxtaposed with poetry.
