Liu Huangtian, formerly known as Liu Yuhua, was born in Taishan in 1948. He was an educated youth in his early years and taught in the countryside. He immigrated to the United States in 1980. His creative career began with new poetry. In the past 10 years, he has become fond of prose essays and collected more than 20 years of life abroad. Experience and write about the vicissitudes of survival of old and new immigrants. He is currently the president of the "American Chinese Literary and Art Circles Association" in San Francisco. He has published poetry collections "The Sky of North America", "Exotic Zongzi", "San Francisco Lyrical", and "The Geography of Chinatown" ***4 This book and two collections of essays have won four poetry awards in mainland China and Taiwan.
