Psalm 25
Scripture:
Show me your way, O LORD, and teach me your way. ..... The fear of the Lord, the Lord will show him the way he chooses. (Ps。 25:4, 12)
Key words:
Command ... awe ... command.
Experience:
Imagine that when you come to a strange place but don't know where your destination is, you may ask someone for directions. Others clearly tell you the right path, but you deliberately don't follow the path pointed out by the other party, or even go in the opposite direction. How will the other party react at this time?
I guess the other person will probably say to your back, "What mental illness!"
You may say, where in the world can there be such a wonderful work and such a person? But in fact, you and I are often such wonderful things, such mental patients. Because of you, I will always pray to God to guide the way forward, but we have not followed the principles and directions clearly revealed by God through the light of the Holy Spirit and the Bible.
God's children are always eager to turn God into their own life navigator, so that every step of their life path can be clearly guided by God, and every time they make a left or right choice, they can be clearly guided by God. However, few people first reflect on whether they really have a heart willing to obey God.
How profound the poet's words are! "Whoever fears the Lord will show him the way he has chosen." If you weren't going to follow God's instructions in the first place, why did you ask him for directions? If you have no fear of God from the beginning, how can he respond to your pursuit?
Oh, blessed Lord, you have made up your mind to show the way to those who truly fear you and are willing to obey you, guide their life direction and lead them to the end!
Pray:
Lord, please show me the way ahead and give me the strength to obey you so that I can follow your guidance. Amen!
