Roe deer
Also known as dwarf deer and wild sheep, it belongs to the family Cervidae and is a herbivore. The body of the roe deer is grass yellow, with white hairs under the tail base. The male roe deer has horns, while the female has no horns. Roe deer is one of the mammals with relatively high economic value. The meat of roe deer is pure and lean, with no fat on the whole body. The meat is rich in nutrients, tender and delicious, and is the king of lean meat. The liver and kidneys are edible, and they can warm the spleen and stomach, and strengthen the heart. It has the functions of lungs, diuresis, aphrodisiac and longevity. The skin is processed into the famous roe deer skin "silk", which is very precious and is the top raw material for making fur clothes. In some areas of Northeast my country, Northwest China and Inner Mongolia (such as the Oroqen people), roe deer meat is their main source of meat. A considerable amount of roe deer meat is often sold in the market. Roe deer fur can be used as mattress and has moisture-proof effect. Sharp skin lacks fluff and is called "shar skin". After processing, it can be made into clothes for spring and autumn, which is popular among workers in the Northeast forest area. If all the fur is shaved off, the remaining skin can be used to make summer clothes. Winter fur has a lot of velvet and is suitable for making fur coats to keep out the cold.
