Forgiveness means forgiving others' mistakes. Forgiveness is essentially a kind of understanding, a kind of tolerance, a kind of tolerance, with a broad mind to tolerate others' harm to themselves, without remembering hatred and taking any revenge.
In other words, don't leave other people's mistakes, offenses, injuries and debts in memory, just let them disappear in memory without leaving any shadow, as if things never happened. Let's look at a biblical example:
The Lord Jesus not only taught us the truth, but also set an example for us in practical action. When he was crucified, he said, "Father! Forgive them! Because they don't know what they are doing. " (Road 23: 34)
When Stephen, a disciple of the Lord, was killed, he knelt down and prayed loudly, saying, "Lord! Don't put this sin on them. " (Acts 7: 60)
This is forgiveness! !
Unfortunately, we are often weak. Why are we like this? Because we won't forgive! People who are kind to me will soon forget. If others offend me and hurt me, they will be very painful and will never forget it.
