Dragon Boat Festival sentimental composition

"May 5th is the Dragon Boat Festival. There are moxa sticks on the door and the house is full of fragrance. We eat rice dumplings and sprinkle sugar. The dragon boat launches into the water and we are filled with joy." Hearing this children's song reminds me of the Dragon Boat Festival.

There is such a song in Qu Yuan's hometown: "The rice dumplings are fragrant, the kitchen is fragrant. The mugwort leaves are fragrant, and the whole house is fragrant. Peach branches are inserted on the door, and when you go out, you can see the yellow wheat. Here is the Dragon Boat Festival, there is the Dragon Boat Festival, there is the Dragon Boat Festival everywhere." There are many theories about the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival, such as: commemorating Qu Yuan; commemorating Wu Zixu; commemorating Cao E; starting from the Summer Solstice Festival of three generations; avoiding evil moons and evil days; Wu Yue national totem sacrifice theory, etc. But for thousands of years, Qu Yuan’s patriotic spirit and touching poems have had the widest and deepest influence.

But no matter what kind of legend it is, it represents a kind of culture and cultural inheritance. Every time during the Dragon Boat Festival in the past, my grandma told me about the excitement and customs of celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival when she was a child. I really wanted to experience this atmosphere.

Among the many customs during the Dragon Boat Festival, my favorite is making rice dumplings. Another year when the rice dumpling leaves were fragrant, I asked my grandma to teach me how to make rice dumplings.

To make zongzi, first wash the zongzi leaves and soak them in hot water until soft. Then prepare a variety of dried fruits, eggs, meat, etc. to make the dumplings, cook your favorite dumplings until they are fragrant, and you are ready to start. First fold the long rice dumpling leaves to make a nest, put the mixed glutinous rice and japonica rice in the middle, and pinch out the edges. Then put the dumplings in the rice, knead them together evenly, and finally make the rice dumplings wrapped in rice dumpling leaves into a four-cornered shape.

The most difficult step is to cover the rice dumpling leaves. Grandma skillfully folded the rice dumpling leaves back and forth, like magic, and soon a standard "triangle" appeared in front of my eyes. At this time, my eagerness to learn came up, and I folded it step by step, and finally made a flat and ugly rice dumpling. Grandma looked at the rice dumplings I made and laughed, "Is this a rice dumpling?" I had to admit that I was defeated by the rice dumplings.

Put the wrapped rice dumplings into the pot and cook over high heat for about 1 hour. The rice dumplings in the pot smell tempting from time to time, which makes my mouth water.

When it was time to eat, I ate the rice dumplings I made, and my heart felt sweeter than rice dumplings dipped in honey.

The two-thousand-year-old Dragon Boat Festival contains the unique spiritual value of the Chinese nation and is a huge spiritual and cultural treasure house.

Every descendant of Yan and Huang should seek strength from this treasure house and inspire themselves to constantly seek and strive towards their ideals!
