Haizi, a contemporary poem

From Haizi's work The Summer Sun

The original text is as follows:

Summer? If there were no shoemakers in this street

I'm barefoot? Stand in the sun and watch the sun.

I think of children born during the day? It must be intentional.

You came to earth? You must look at the sun.

With your sweetheart? Walking down the street together

Know her? I also understand sun.

A group of healthy workers? Have a cigarette at noon.

Summer sunshine? sun

When did Christ join the WTO? Also grew up in this sun.

Extended data evaluation

The whole poem expresses a view that the sun in summer is beautiful and we should be close to nature. At first I said I wanted to go barefoot, because the poet wanted to be close to the earth. It is the sun that gives human temperature and life. Therefore, Haizi wants to be close to the earth, nature and the sun.

Just because the sunshine is beautiful, it is also beautiful to walk in the street with your sweetheart. What a warm and romantic thing it is to walk in the sun with your beloved. All beings are equal, and Christ, like all human beings, was born and bathed in brilliant sunshine, enjoying the same warmth.
