Zhang Xianzhong was born in a poor family, and he was smart and stubborn since childhood. He followed his father to do small business and sell red dates. He worked as a fast catcher, and then came to Yansui Town as a border soldier. Strong-willed by nature, he loves to fight against injustice, and almost lost his life for this. ? During the Chongzhen period, he organized a peasant army uprising and later led his troops into Sichuan.
in p>1644, the Daxi regime was established in Chengdu, that is, the throne. After that, Fengyang was defeated, the imperial tomb was burned, the county was broken, and Xiangyang was trapped. In the sixteenth year of Chongzhen, Wuchang was called the King of the Great West. The following year, the Great West was built in Chengdu, that is, the throne, and the title was Dashun. However, when the Qing army went south, Zhang Xianzhong led his troops and refused to fight. He was hit by a flowing arrow in Phoenix Mountain in Xichong and died. ?
There are many anecdotes circulating in Zhang Xianzhong, such as going to Sichuan to kill Shu, burying treasures in the river, and hiding flags and drums.
In the past, the feudal ruling class vilified Zhang Xianzhong as a "killer" and a "killer demon", and the pernicious influence left behind in Sichuan was not to be ignored. Up to now, most people have been influenced to varying degrees by the legend of the so-called "Eight Kings Suppressing Sichuan".
