In order to know what these incomprehensible poems are about, I also read two articles about the new trend of modern poetry. One of them roughly says that modern poetry has jumped out of the limitation of expressing ambition in poetry. It is not to express poetry through images in obscure poetry, but to express a unique emotion when the poet's inspiration flashes. This emotion is the poet's own, and readers can't understand the poet's original emotion by reading words. I'll go! So that's why I don't understand! But I want to know that words are ideographic. Poet, you make it impossible for readers to feel your emotions through words. Why write it in words? You can feel it in your heart; Since your emotions are personal, that is, readers can't understand and sing, what are you doing? Just leave it at home. The emotion of a poet when he is inspired for a moment, but the reader still can't grasp this emotion. I'll go! Did you really answer the blasphemy against the poet: "People who write poems are crazy"?
Many years ago, there was a short story in this publication about a man who liked writing poems so much that every submission was rejected. One day, his son, who was in a small class in kindergarten, typed a bunch of words on a typewriter. After he sent the poem, he found that he sent the paper typed by his son. After some time, he was told that his poem was accepted. He was so surprised that he never wrote poetry again.
In the face of those abstruse poems that are difficult to read and understand, I think it is better to write poems with simple words and rich connotations. The poems of Liu Aofu and Zhao Lihua have been criticized by many people. Although we have similar views on their poems, I think the two poems, Birds outside the window and I finally found them under a big tree, are as simple as words, but the former shows the pure, energetic and happy feeling that birds sing, which makes people excited and has a long lasting charm. The last poem named "Ant Poetry" is the author's reflection on the living conditions of society and small people, which not only makes people feel sorry: am I not one of the ants? And it's an ant under the big tree! What a sharp contrast between ants and trees!
Alas! Poetry, do you have to carry such a big shelf?
