English poet. 1572 was born in a wealthy family in London. 163 1 died in London on March 3 1. Believe in Roman Catholicism. In his early years, he joined the Earl of Essex's expedition to Spain, and later became the secretary of the Queen's Minister Sir Thomas Eggleton. He converted to the Anglican Church on 16 15 and later became a famous missionary at that time. From 162 1, he was appointed dean of St. Paul's Cathedral College in London.
