hans christian andersen
Danish writer. 1805 was born into a shoemaker's family in odense, Fiying Island, Denmark.1805 died in Copenhagen on August 4th, 1975. My father died at the age of 1 1, and my mother washed clothes for a living. Have no formal education. My father loves drama and can recite many Shakespeare's plays, which has a great influence on Andersen. 18 19 years, in order to learn stage art, I went to Copenhagen alone and got help from some enthusiastic people. However, many stage practices showed that he was not suitable to be an actor, so he tried to be a singer, and because a bad cold damaged his vocal cords, he had to give up his stage career completely and began to learn script writing, which was also unsuccessful. 1827, published his first poem "Dying Children". After that, he began to write poems, plays, travel notes and essays. 1829 "A Odyssey in Alga" came out and was well received by the literary world. In April of the same year, Love on the nikolayev Tower, one of his light comedies, premiered at the Royal Theatre. 183 1 ~ 1833, Andersen traveled to Germany and Italy and published poems, travel notes, essays and novels after returning to China. Among these works, the novel Impromptu Poet, which is based on Italian life, is the best. Shortly after its publication, it was translated into German and English.
Andersen often travels at home and abroad. He has been to Norway, Sweden, France, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Asia Minor and Africa, and has published many travel works. It was his fairy tales that made Andersen famous in the world. From the first children's story published in the spring of 1835 to 1872, he wrote 168 fairy tales and stories, including The Emperor's New Clothes, which satirized the emperor's stupidity, fatuity and flattery, and praised the pursuit of loyal love by pure girls. The Little Match Girl and the Gatekeeper's Son, which describe the miserable life of the poor, and The Ugly Duckling and She's a Waste, which reflect the unfortunate experiences and life experiences of himself and his mother.
Andersen's fairy tales clearly distinguish between love and hate, and enthusiastically praise the working people and their excellent character of kindness and purity; Ruthlessly expose and criticize the stupidity, incompetence, greed and cruelty of princes and nobles. His fairy tales and stories truly reflect the contradictions in Denmark's real society, with rich flavor of life, romance and emotional appeal. Judging from the materials, some of Andersen's fairy tales are based on folk stories, ballads and legends, and a larger part is based on real life, which he created independently from his observation of life and social life. There are various genres of works, including fables, stories and novels. Many artistic images, such as naked emperor, ugly duckling and Thumbelina, have become allusions in European and even world languages. Many fairy tales have been adapted into movies, TV plays and ballets, which are staged all over the world.
Although Andersen's fairy tales are written for the "future generation", their implications are extremely rich and profound, and they are also deeply loved by adults. It has been translated into more than 80 languages. In memory of this writer, a large museum was built in his hometown of odense to collect and treasure various versions of Andersen's works published by various countries.
