The adherents wept in the dust and looked south to Julian Waghann for another year.
Translation:
The Yellow River, which is long in Wan Li, flows eastward into the sea, and Huashan Mountain, which is 5,000 meters high, goes straight into the sky. Under the oppression of the conference semifinals, the tears of the Central Plains people have run out, and they look forward to Julian Waghann's Northern Expedition year after year.
Extended data
Creation background
This group of poems was written in the autumn of 1 192 (the third year of Shaoxi in Song Guangzong) when Lu You was in Yin Shan (now Shaoxing in Zhejiang). During the Southern Song Dynasty, Jin Bing occupied the Central Plains. When the poet wrote this poem, the Central Plains had fallen into the hands of the Jin people for more than 60 years. Although it was early autumn, the summer heat was still strong, which made him unable to sleep peacefully. At dawn, he walked out of the hedge door and touched his heart, which became these two poems.
Poetry appreciation
"Three Wan Li rivers enter the sea, and five thousand mountains climb skyscrapers." The poem began to split, and the weather was strict. The words "Jin" and "Rub" make people feel that the Yellow River and Huashan Mountain are not only majestic, but also full of vitality. However, great rivers and mountains, trapped in which the enemy, people feel extremely indignant. These two sentences are broad and profound, and they are still a neat and tidy problem.
In the next two sentences, the word "tears streaming down her face" is full of infinite bitterness, but even if "eyes are dry and blood is exhausted", the adherents who care about their motherland still look forward to the south. With "Chen Hu" as the background of "tears exhausted", feelings are getting more and more painful, and the word "you" expands the upper limit of time.
When the poet writes about the sufferings of the northern adherents, he is actually expressing his disappointment. The patriotic enthusiasm of the people is really like a jumping flame under the ground, which is getting hotter and hotter as time goes by; However, the ruling group of the Southern Song Dynasty died in the West Lake, leaving behind great rivers and mountains, ethnic hatred and family feuds.
The purpose of the poet's calling for adherents is to arouse the vigilance of people living in the Southern Song Dynasty and arouse their will to recover.
