Exploring the Central Idea of Du Mu's Poem Red Cliff in Tang Dynasty
"Red Cliff" (Author: Du Mu) has not been sold, and it was recognized by the previous dynasty. If the east wind is not convenient for Zhou Yu, I'm afraid the outcome will be Cao Cao's victory and Er Qiao's detention in Tongquetai. Poetic: a broken halberd sank into the underwater sand without being eroded. After polishing and cleaning, it was found that it was a relic of Battle of Red Cliffs. If the east wind is not convenient for Zhou Yu, I am afraid that Cao Cao will win and Er Qiao will be put in Tongquetai. Writing background: This poem was written by the poet after passing through the famous ancient battlefield Chibi (now Chiji Mountain in the southwest of Wuchang County, Hubei Province) and feeling the success or failure of heroes in the Three Kingdoms period. Battle of Red Cliffs, which took place in October, 13th year of Jian 'an of Emperor Xian of Han Dynasty (2008), was a major battle that played a decisive role in the historical situation of the three kingdoms. As a result, Sun and Liu were defeated, and Zhou Yu, the 34-year-old commander-in-chief of Sun Wu, was the most important person in this battle. The poet watched the ruins of the ancient battlefield, and expressed his unique views on Battle of Red Cliffs, thinking that Zhou Yu's victory was a fluke, and at the same time expressed his lament for the rise and fall of the country. Affectionate The beginning of this poem is only written with a humble halberd. This broken halberd, which was associated with the ancient war, naturally caused the following lament about history. People and things that have left traces in history are often eroded by ruthless time and easily faded from people's memories. Just like this iron halberd, it is often remembered by people by accident, or it causes nostalgia or deep thought. It is precisely because of the discovery of this halberd that the poet's mood could not be calm, so he had to grind his teeth and identify it, and found that it turned out to be the relic of the "powerful dynasty"-the battle of the Three Kingdoms in Chibi. This is a major battle that determines the tripartite confrontation among the three countries. Heroes gather, how magnificent. Recognition of the former dynasty has aroused the author's unconstrained thoughts and paved the way for the latter two sentences to express his feelings about history. Of course, the best part of the whole poem is the last two sentences that have been recited for a long time. These two sentences are arguments. "Recognizing the Former Dynasty" could have written a review of this war, but he omitted it, so it is not a memory, a description, nor a general historical evaluation, but a direct judgment of historical victory or defeat. He did not judge heroes by success or failure, but put forward an evaluation different from that of Cao Cao, a historian on the war side. Du Mu's theory of writing history not only shows his outstanding knowledge, but also shows his depression and generosity. I lament that a hero's chance to become famous in history cannot be shown because of his untimely birth and political and military talents. It seems to have another meaning: I believe I will always make a difference and show a remarkable heroism if I have the opportunity.
