The full text consists of an introduction, four chapters and a conclusion. Introduction: This article reviews the history and current situation of research on poetry about things, and at the same time, based on previous research, defines poetry about things to clarify the research object, purpose and significance. Chapter 1 The budding period of poetry about objects - the pre-Qin period. This chapter mainly starts from the Book of Songs, Qu Yuan's works, and Xunzi's "Fu" to explore their important influence on poetry about objects in its embryonic stage. First of all, through the analysis of several different views on the origin of poetry about things, it is believed that poetry about things originated from the description of things in the Book of Songs. Although there is no complete poem about objects in the Book of Songs, it has a great influence on later generations of poems about objects in terms of describing the state of objects, using objects to metaphor people, and supporting objects to rise. Secondly, Qu Yuan, on the basis of inheriting the Bixing technique pioneered by The Book of Songs, through his own development and creation, formed the Bixing tradition of "Herb Beauty" which has a far-reaching influence in the history of ancient Chinese poetry. This is also the Bixing tradition of ancient Chinese poetry. It is one of the important aesthetic features. At the same time, Qu Yuan also created the first object-chanting poem in the history of Chinese poems - "Ode to Orange". Although this poem was written accidentally by Qu Yuan, the creative method of "observing objects and comparing virtues" used in it undoubtedly had a profound impact on later generations of poems that compare objects and chant objects. Thirdly, the riddle characteristics reflected in Xun Kuang's "Fu" were the origin of riddles in poems chanting about objects in later generations. Chapter 2 The Formation and Development Period of Poems about Things - During the Han, Wei and Jin Dynasties, the poems about things that were rooted in the rich artistic soil of the Pre-Qin Dynasty finally took shape and developed in the Han, Wei and Jin Dynasties. In the prosperous literary situation of Han Fu, poetry in the Western Han Dynasty developed slowly, and so did poetry about objects. During the Western Han Dynasty, some Chu songs composed by emperors and some auspicious Yuefu poems in suburban temple songs also involved some objects and had some characteristics of poetry about objects, but there was no clear sense of chanting objects in the poems, so We call it poetry about things. During the Eastern Han Dynasty, with the development of literati's five-character poems, poems about objects finally took shape. The contents include not only poems about objects that use objects to metaphor people, such as Zhang Heng's "Poetry of Resentment" and Cai Yong's "Kingfisher", but also poems like "Ancient Poems" ( Four Seats and No Noise) is a work that focuses on the depiction of objects. In the Wei and Jin Dynasties, poems about objects appeared in large numbers and entered the stage of development. During the Wei Dynasty and the Jin Dynasty, poems about chanting objects that focused on conveying objects and expressing interest accounted for a larger proportion. Chapter 3 The prosperous period of poems about chanting things - the Southern and Northern Dynasties Period During the Southern and Northern Dynasties, poems about chanting things have greatly improved and developed in terms of quantity and quality compared with the previous generation. Poems about chanting things have appeared in the development process. The first climax period is the period of prosperity. This chapter is divided into four sections according to the historical development sequence of poetry about things.
