Who is the author of Birch Tree?
Robert Frost is one of the most popular American poets in the 20th century. He won the Pulitzer Prize four times and was known as "Poet Laureate of American Literature". Influenced by his personal life experience, his poems are mostly set in the rural areas of New England in the United States, so he is called "the peasant poet of New England". Although he is good at describing the beautiful rural scenery in New England, the theme of his poems is not only to lament the beautiful natural scenery in the countryside, but also to reflect on life. His poems seem simple, but in fact they are rich in meaning, and the simple words have built a great realm. Birch Tree is also one of the famous pastoral poems, which contains images of Woods, frost, winter rain and snow. This poem tells the story that the author saw a birch forest with a bent trunk, which triggered his guess: they may have been bent by a naughty boy swinging a tree, or they may have been bent by snow and ice; Boys may choose to swing trees for entertainment because of loneliness. At the end of the poem, the poet laments how good it is to come back after leaving reality for a period of time, but at the same time expresses the boring idea of reality. Frost's Birch Tree is an idyllic poem. When describing the quiet pastoral scenery, it also shows the poet's inner struggle between ideal and reality. In this paper, the contradiction and binary opposition in poetry are deconstructed by deconstruction analysis method, and the poet's emotional attitude is interpreted with a new understanding, and it is found that the poet's attitude towards reality is vague. He not only knows to return, but also wants to escape from reality, expressing his confusion and confusion about life. Source: literature education
