Psalm 23
Scripture:
Although I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I am not afraid of evil, because you are with me; Your staff and your pole comfort me. (Ps。 23:4)
Key words:
You're with me.
Experience:
I remember that I was particularly weak for a while after believing in the Lord, and the longest time was that I didn't pray for a whole month. At that time, I didn't mean to lose my faith, but I seemed to be angry with God on purpose and refused to communicate with him with an attitude of "I ignore you, ignore you, ignore you".
However, during that time, I could clearly feel that there seemed to be a pair of loving eyes staring at me all the time, and even felt that behind those eyes, they were so tolerant, warm and firm. From then on, I understood a truth, that is, even if a person is in the deepest weakness, his Lord will still stick by his side and will still be with him!
When I read the 23rd Psalm again today, it was the most famous and familiar poem in the world, and the earliest poem I could recite. Suddenly I didn't know what to write. Only the words "you are with me" are still deeply rooted in my heart, awakening my memory at that time.
The Lord God is the great shepherd of the souls of all those who choose to take refuge in him. Although he promised that there would never be a shortage of people following him, he never promised that the scenery along the way would be lush and fragrant, but sometimes he would experience the valley of the shadow of death.
However, the most important thing is that even in the valley of the shadow of death, he will still be with his people, protect him and go to the valley of the shadow of death with him until he is taken to the grass and streams!
In fact, people will always experience all kinds of valleys of death shadow, and I don't know when my next valley of death shadow will come. But I know that whenever and wherever, my Lord will still walk with me.
Oh, dear brothers and sisters, "Who can separate us from the love of Christ?" Is it pain? Is it suffering? Is it persecution? Is it hunger? Is it naked? Is it dangerous? Is it a sword? ..... I firmly believe that no matter death, life, angel, strength, power, present, future, heights, lowlands or other creatures can isolate us from God's love; This love is in Christ Jesus our Lord. "(Luo. 8:38-39)
Pray:
My shepherd, when I walk in the valley of the shadow of death, please strengthen my confidence and follow you to the end. Amen!
