What kinds of natural compasses are written in the text?
There are four natural compasses in this paper: the sun, the North Star, the leaves of the branches and the snow in the ditch. In the textbook "If you get lost in the wild" for the second year of Chinese, the editor wrote: "At noon, the sun is in the south, and the shadow of the tree refers to the north. On a clear night, the direction of Polaris is the north. At night, Polaris can show us the north. On rainy days, the thick side of big branches and leaves is south, and the thin side is north. After snowing, the snow in the ditch melts quickly in the north and slowly in the south. This passage describes that when you get lost in the wild, you can find the right direction according to the natural compasses such as the sun, shadows of trees, Polaris, leaves of branches and snow in ditches. The principles of these natural compasses are all based on the laws of natural phenomena, such as the rising and setting of the sun, the growth direction of branches and leaves, and the position of the North Pole star. By observing and judging these natural phenomena, we can help us determine the direction and avoid getting lost and going the wrong way.
