The report of the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China made clear the development ability requirements of building a well-off society in an all-round way from four aspects: economy, politics, culture and sustainable development. Specifically, there are six "more": more developed economy, more sound democracy, more advanced science and education, more prosperous culture, more harmonious society and more affluent people's lives.
Entering a well-off society is a development process in different fields, regions and regions. The so-called low level means that although China's economic aggregate has reached a certain scale, the per capita level is still relatively low. The so-called incompleteness means that in a well-off society, food and clothing consumption is basically met, while development consumption has not been effectively met, social security is not perfect, and environmental quality needs to be improved. The so-called unbalanced development means that the development level gap between regions and between urban and rural areas is not small.
A well-off society is a stage of social development in which social productive forces are constantly developing, the per capita gross national product and people's living standards are constantly improving, and the country's comprehensive national strength, especially its economic strength, is significantly enhanced.
If we enter a well-off society, our per capita GNP will reach 1000 US dollars, while the population has reached 1200 million to125 billion US dollars, which means that GNP will reach 100 to120 billion US dollars. In other words, in the process of the development of a well-off society, and in the process of the per capita GNP increasing from $800 to 1000, the total economic output will gradually be in the forefront of the world.
