Su Shi, whose word is profound and whose word is harmonious, is known as Tieguan Taoist and Dongpo layman, and internationally as Su Dongpo, Su Xian and Po Xian. Meishan, Meizhou, a native of Luancheng, Hebei Province, was a writer, painter and historical water control celebrity in the Northern Song Dynasty. My father is Su Xun, my brother is Su Zhe, and my father and son are called Su San.
Gourmet dajia
Su Shi is a gourmet himself, and there are many records of Su Shi's invention of food in the note novels of the Song Dynasty. When Su Shi learned about Hangzhou, during May and June of five years in Yuan You, there was heavy rain in western Zhejiang and Taihu Lake flooded. Su Shi directed the dredging of the West Lake and the construction of Su Causeway. Hangzhou people thanked him. During the Chinese New Year, everyone carries pigs and drinks to pay a New Year call to him. Su Shi instructed his family to dice the pork, burn it red and crisp, and then give it to everyone. This is the origin of Dongpo meat.
Karma of Buddhism and Zen Buddhism
Su Shi's name is Dongpo Jushi. He has signed his name in many poems and has been writing Buddhist and Zen poems almost all his life. The prevalence of Zen thought at that time coincided with Su Shi's political frustration and his departure from the imperial court. Therefore, Su Shi consciously accepted Buddhism and Zen thought and integrated it into his own poetry creation.
Not only that, Zen also had a great influence on the ideological content of Su Shi's poems, which made Su Shi have a deeper spiritual realm and a more free and easy understanding of life. In the process of studying Buddhism, Su Shi mainly absorbed Hua Yanzong's cosmology of "harmony without hindrance" and Zen's epiphany theory, and formed an ethereal and mellow cosmology and outlook on life.
When Su Shi was in Huangzhou, he often kept in touch with Fo Yin, the abbot of Jinshan Temple. One day, Su Shi wrote a poem, "Looking at the blue sky in the sky, illuminating people, sitting on the purple lotus when the eight winds can't blow", which was dedicated to Fo Yin. The Zen master immediately approved the word "fart" and let the young people take it back. Dongpo saw this great anger and immediately asked the Zen master to cross the river. The Zen master smiled and said, bachelor, bachelor, aren't you' eight winds can't blow'? Why did you cross the river with a fart again?
The eight winds can't be blown, which can be seen in the fifth volume of Buddhist classics, and there is also this sentence in the poem of the poet Hanshan. The Eight Winds is a Buddhist term, which refers to eight kinds of winds: name, ridicule, extinction, reputation, benefit, decline, bitterness and joy.
At the last moment of Su Shi's life, the company of Lin Wei, a monk friend, showed the comfort of Zen philosophy to his life. In the last song "Answering Elder Jing", he wrote: Jun and Bingzi, a total of 30,000 days. Thousands of miles a day, electricity gets there. A great man is ill, but no man is ill. Laughing at Roche all my life, the spell really came out.
There is not only the Zen debate that life is disease-free in the Diamond Sutra, but also the detachment from the suffering of birth, aging, illness and death, which is also the expression of Su Shi's thought.
