If Life Deceives You is a well-known work. This poem has only eight sentences, but it has achieved great success. The reason is that it is full of human feelings and philosophy, which makes people feel the poet's sincerity, broad mind and strong optimism. After the exemption clause came out, many people used it as their motto to motivate themselves.
Because the works are catchy, many students memorized them before learning them. Therefore, in the teaching design of this paper, I will understand poetry, appreciate emotion, stimulate imagination and imitate poetry as my learning goal.
In the process of classroom teaching, I first use a song "Sunshine Always After Rain" to attract students' interest in learning. After listening to the song, let the students talk about their understanding of the lyrics, so as to introduce a new lesson. Then, the students share the author's information, and the teacher supplements it, specifically pointing out Pushkin's two exiles, and then asking the students to guess the writing background of the poem. After the students express their own speculation and make clear the background of this poem, let the students read after the famous teacher.
When we enter the content of poetry, we begin to use lexical changes to let students analyze poetry. After understanding the connotation of "deception", guide students to replace "deception". Students gave a lot of words in class, such as "playing tricks, fooling, fooling ..." Some students even said "forgetting", which felt great! Then guide students to change words while reading poems according to their own ideas. They used "panic, sadness, loss and loneliness" instead of "sadness and impatience ..."
Then, according to my previous thinking, I changed "melancholy" into "embarrassment, confusion and loneliness …" and changed "calmness" into "sureness, optimism and calmness …" Following this thinking, the students in groups of four continued to read the second paragraph like this. When students change their words, a poem expressing positive optimism about life is completed.
I asked several classmates to share the reasons for changing the words, and I can make it clear. In this way, a class ends with reading, changing words and imitating writing.
Judging from the classroom study, the students in Class 9 are still cautious in understanding the connotation of poetry. Changing words and enjoying reading is not flexible enough. 10 class is obviously more active than class 9, which can be used for reference. But the students in the two classes are very interested in this learning form of changing words and imitating writing. Although some students' imitations are still immature, they are very happy. I hope my students can encourage themselves with the optimism and openness of this poem in the future ups and downs!
If life fails you.
If life fails you,
Don't hesitate and don't cry!
Gloomy days need self-confidence;
Believe it, happy days will come.
The heart always looks forward to the dawn;
Now I often feel depressed,
Everything will disappear, everything will become a trace;
And what has passed away will surely become a beautiful past.
