Patriotic poetry is selected from Poems of Four Spirits in Yongjia.

Yongjia Siling is an important school of poetry in the middle and late Southern Song Dynasty. It advocated the poetic style of the late Tang Dynasty, represented by Jia Dao and Yao He, paid attention to the five laws, emphasized simplicity and avoidance of things, and corrected the abuses of Jiangxi poetic school, which made the poetic style of the late Tang Dynasty popular at the end of the Song Dynasty, marking another change in the Southern Song Dynasty and was regarded as a representative figure who changed the characteristics of the Song Dynasty. Siling's poetry has not achieved much, but it occupies an important position in the history of literature. The reason is not only because of the resistance to Jiangxi in the late Tang Dynasty, but also because of its own glory: although the realm of poetry is narrow, it can be surprisingly narrow. It inherits the late Tang Dynasty and has new changes at the same time, bearing rich cultural connotations and the spirit of the times.

Like their poetry titles, Siling's poetry creation is confined to the study, with narrow vision, small quantity and low achievement. However, these four spirits play a very important role in the history of literature. The style of poetry in the late Tang Dynasty advocated by Siling brought a new atmosphere to the Southern Song Dynasty poetry circle, which was shrouded by Jiangxi poetry school for a long time, and quickly became the mainstream of poetry circle with many followers. The four spirits have also been promoted as representatives of the anti-dial Song tune.
