Classification of poetry:
May 4th Movement is divided into two types: old-style poems and new-style poems.
There are two kinds of old-style poems: ancient poems and modern poems, which mainly refer to metrical poems and quatrains. It also includes words and songs.
For example, The Book of Songs and Nineteen Ancient Poems are all ancient poems.
Wang Wei's Autumn Night in the Mountains and Li Bai's Looking at Lushan Waterfall are both modern poems.
Guo Moruo's Market in the Sky and Coal in the Furnace are new poems.
In addition, later generations can write poems of predecessors' genres, such as Li Bai and Du Fu, and they also write classical poems, such as Climbing Mount Tianmu in a Dream and Autumn Wind Breaking the Cottage.
Chen Yi's Song Qing is the first quatrain.
Chairman Mao's poems also belong to "new wine in old bottles", but they are not ancient poems, but ancient poems (some of his poems are words, some are rhymes and some are quatrains, so they are ancient poems).
