What is the life of poetry?

The life of poetry lies in connotation and artistic conception. Poems with beautiful artistic conception are often praised and loved by people, but I think connotation is more important (although artistic conception and connotation are inseparable ...). Only poems with profound thoughts and rich philosophies can make people feel happy and learn some philosophies from them, which is really good poetry.
