That touch of green changed my composition in Grade One.

There are many things in life that die with the waves like duckweed; Others are firmly rooted in people's hearts like roots. Whenever I open the memorial hole and see a green leaf on the card, I deeply miss my first teacher, Miss Ye.

I spent my childhood in a small mountain village that haunted me. Teacher Ye was the best guide in my childhood. Mr. Ye was only in his twenties. He is usually quiet and taciturn, but he likes talking to me very much. Teacher Ye likes me and I respect her.

Teacher Ye likes green leaves, and bookmarks made of green leaves can often be seen in her books. Once I was walking in the wild with Teacher Ye, and I saw her bow her head and pick up a broad green leaf. "Teacher Ye, why do you like green leaves so accidentally?" I can't help asking Teacher Ye smiled and asked, "Do you like it?" "I don't like it. I love safflower. " The teacher was noncommittal, but told me a very touching story: a little girl was seriously ill and thought she was dying. She looked at the ivy outside the window and said, "When the last leaf of ivy falls, I will leave this world." People felt sorry for her, which was known by an old and sick painter. On a stormy night, the old painter painted a green crystal leaf and tied it firmly on the ivy. Shortly thereafter, the old painter died suddenly, but the little girl survived strongly from then on. After listening to teacher Ye's eloquence, I realized the real reason why she likes green leaves.

Later, when I left my hometown, Teacher Ye gave me a bunch of flowers when we parted, but I said, "You'd better give me a green leaf." Teacher Ye smiled knowingly. She smiled so sweetly.

Last Teacher's Day, I went to visit Teacher Ye specially. She looks a little old, but she is more cheerful and talkative than before. I'm glad she got wind of it, and I'm a little reluctant to leave. When she left, she gave me a very delicate card. It is inlaid with a green leaf, on which is copied a famous saying: the cause of flowers is noble, the cause of fruits is sweet, and the cause of leaves is humble. Let's do a green cause, because the green cause is honest.

Since then, I have always treasured this card, like the "sincerity" given by Teacher Ye.
