A native of Yongzhou, Hunan. Graduated from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature of China Radio and Television University in 1992. Started working in 1982. After 1992, he successively served as editor of the "Qiyang News" of the Qiyang County Party Committee, editor of the "China Market Economic News" of the Central Party School of the Communist Party of China, and editor of the "Yongzhou Daily" of the Yongzhou Municipal Party Committee. Started publishing works in 1988. Joined the Chinese Writers Association in 2006. He is the author of poetry collections "Vembrance" and "Poetry". "The Love Story of a Tare" and "Shanxi Pingyao" were included in "2002 Chinese Poetry" and "2000-2002 Selected Chinese Poetry" respectively. "I Don't Want to Go Home" and "In Eternal Singing" won the 1993 Poetry God Cup from "Poetry God" magazine. Third prize in the National New Poetry Competition, "Seeing Spring is Coming" won the Outstanding Work Award in the National New Poetry Competition of "Poetry Magazine" in 2000.
