Poetic background
Loushanguan, located in Meixian County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province today, is an important pass on the ancient Silk Road. In the Tang Dynasty, Loushanguan was an important passage connecting Shaanxi and Gansu, and it was also one of the military fortresses in the Tang Dynasty. Du Fu left many poems in Loushanguan, among which Yi Qin E Loushanguan is the most popular.
Poetry analysis
