Weifeng Bamboo Pole" is a poem in the Book of Songs, the first collection of poetry in ancient China. This is a poem about a Weiguo woman who misses her hometown after getting married and far away from her hometown. There are sixteen lines in the poem, each of which is divided into four chapters. From the two different perspectives of memory and speculation, it expresses the strong feelings of homesickness and nostalgia for a woman who married far away from her hometown. The emotions of this poem are lingering and profound; the language is concise, implicit, fresh and dynamic
"Wei Feng·Bamboo Pole" is a poem about a Wei woman who missed her hometown after getting married and far away from her hometown. Qishui in Weiguo is a place for young men and women to have fun. The leisurely waves of Qishui River and the beautiful scenery on both sides of the Taiwan Strait accompany these young people through their carefree teenage years. Therefore, whenever they stay away from their hometown, look back on the past, and miss their relatives and homesickness, Qishui will naturally come to mind. Qishui, hometown, relatives, and family ties all melt together, arousing waves of emotion in the heart.
This poem was written with this kind of emotional wave. Regarding the theme of the poem, "Preface to Mao's Poems" says: ""Bamboo Pole", the daughter of the Wei Kingdom longs to return home." It writes about a daughter of the Wei Kingdom who married far away and misses her hometown. As for the author, Wei Yuan researched it in "Shi Gu Wei" and believed that "it was also written by Mrs. Xu Mu".
This Mrs. Xu Mu is the naughty daughter of Mr. Wei, and she married in the state of Xu. Later, when Mrs. Xu Mu's brother Dai Gong came to power, the Wei State was captured by the Di people and the Wei State was destroyed. Since Mrs. Xu Mu could not return to Weiguo to express her condolences, she wrote the poem "_Wind Zai Chi" to express her feelings. From a poetic point of view, "Weifeng·Bamboo Pole" does not have the heaviness of grief and condolences, but only the sorrow of homesickness and nostalgia, unlike the sound of a subjugated country. Wei Yuan said that "Wei Feng Bamboo Pole" was written by Mrs. Xu Mu. There is no evidence, it is just a speculation.
