Chapter Three: Praise Tao Yuanming.
Born to like free and natural things, the requirements for life are very simple. He boldly pursues what he wants, regardless of other people's eyes. In a peaceful and quiet country, he doesn't need principles, rules and frameworks, but a sincere heart is enough.
I admire Tao Yuanming, the first pastoral poet in China. He has been a small official for several years, but he is still happy to go home. He is not blinded by fame and fortune, secularism, officialdom and wealth, but is getting closer and closer to the most real thing in life. He looked at the official coldly as the dignitaries scrambled into his world. This completely honest Mr. 56 has long been beyond the secular world. He entered his dream of "Peach Blossom Garden". He doesn't like intrigue, and he doesn't like fighting for power and profit. He was bound by the dark atmosphere of officialdom, so he simply left, stopped fighting for fame and fortune, went to a fairyland on earth, and happily enjoyed the beautiful scenery of "a good day for mountains and a good day for birds". Such indifference, elegance, enthusiasm and sensibility lie in that he regards everything in life as a natural landscape, looks at it with appreciation, walks past it and finally returns to his spiritual belonging, or this endless nature.
He never craves for material life, but has higher requirements for spiritual life. "He doesn't care about poverty or wealth." . He is like a seed, living between flowers and green leaves, sheltered by nature, washing his heart clean, walking at the forefront of the years every day, and will not rack his brains for survival, let alone humiliate himself for success. This leisure will not be lonely, edify his body and mind, and let him live soberly in that ugly world. At present, only he is enjoying the best material resources.
Tao Yuanming's seclusion is much more comfortable for our humble abode now. He put his expectations and desires into nature and enjoyed the role brought by nature.
He has always had a belief, a strong and distinct feeling. Can't guess his depth, can't let a person peep. Only after personal experience and experience did he know that that was the true meaning of life. The official life in name only is a sacrifice of life, which will only make people closer to death faster.
I have always believed that Tao Yuanming never escaped. His talent, his mind, his thoughts and his feelings will stay in this world forever and will never leave, but in different ways. He is accustomed to a more approachable nature and an innate sense of intimacy, which only a person with lofty ideals can have.
In today's society, I don't know when "Tao Yuanming" will appear. He is like a scientific law, waiting for further discovery and understanding. His height, in this same society, is even more difficult to break through. Pursue luxury, live a life full of gold, have a Rolls Royce, buy a house that can span generations in a good location, have a fine sense of business, work hard to make money, enter the upper class, believe that "money is the last word", let famous brands package themselves and get rich overnight. This is what many young people dream of. What if there is no city? What if one day a natural disaster destroys all this? Is your pursuit of life still valuable? Busy every day to collapse, health, happiness, happiness, are these still our original most essential needs? Naive, kind, simple, strong and honest, are these still the greatest natures in the world? The subversive of the world is still the above-mentioned us, and it is still done by "Tao Yuanming". He should be able to enlighten us more or less.
Tao Yuanming didn't bring much value to the government in that society, but I think his life itself is his most precious value, and his personality and attitude towards life are the values we want to create for the contemporary world.
