I grew up with my motherland.

Our school held a poetry reading to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and I participated. My chosen topic is "Take off, my great motherland". I have been rehearsing seriously these days. I know, I usually have a loud voice, but when I get on stage, I sweat nervously and my legs keep shaking. So when others are free, bring them in and make them my audience.

"The performance has already started." Xiao Ning, the simulation host, said, "Please welcome the readers of Take Off, My Great Motherland. Please applaud. " Applause, I'm on stage. "Hello, everyone, I'm XXX from Class X, Grade 7, and the topic I recited is" Take off, my great motherland ". I read the whole poem with my own understanding, sometimes soothing and sometimes expensive. " Not bad, very skilled. ""It would be nice to release a little more strength and emotion at the end of the article. " "It's best to add some gestures ..." The Chinese teacher also gave me patient and meticulous guidance, and many places guided me to read repeatedly and ponder carefully. Gradually mastered the change of tone, emotional ups and downs, more and more feeling. The teacher told me to be confident, natural and generous, and then carefully ponder the author's creative intention and give full play to the author's deep affection for the motherland. ...

Soon, the day of recitation came as scheduled.

The host mobilized the audience's momentum, and the reciter either crooned tactfully or forcefully and emotionally, which touched everyone's heart. Only me, shivering under the stage, my heart is beating, my hands are cold and my paper towel is wet. "Please welcome the reader of" Take off, my great motherland ",and everyone applauds." Then, thunderous applause rang out from the audience. "Finished, it's my turn. Forget it, bite the bullet and go. " I thought in fear. I walked to the center of the stage with unconfident steps. With the music playing, I gradually calmed down I looked up and met the Chinese teacher's eyes. As a result, he was in front of the audience The teacher raised his right fist and made a gesture of infinite strength. I suddenly became more confident and began to recite affectionately. "... our nation has great hope, and our motherland will become a powerful country ahead of the world ..." "... take off, Xing 'an League, Kunlun Mountain! Take off, Yangtze River and Yellow River! Take off, I am a hundred thousand Chinese descendants! Take off, my motherland with a glorious history of 5,000 years! "I opened my arms and made a gesture of soaring, and thunderous applause rang out from the audience.

I bowed deeply and walked off the stage with brisk steps. I looked down and the manuscript was soaked with my sweat. I looked at the teacher, and a touch of sunshine just reflected on his face.

I think of the development of the motherland, from failure and backwardness, to satellites, to Tiangong-1, to manned space flight, to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge ... China is rising, growing and I am growing.

This document is dedicated to the 70th birthday of the motherland.
