However, there are still many shortcomings in our teaching staff: for example, advocating money and lacking public morality; Be content with the status quo and not strive for progress; Depression, lack of professionalism; Indulge in playing mahjong, playing cards and stock trading; Corporal punishment or corporal punishment of students in disguised form; Abuse power for personal gain, insult, indecency and even students, and so on. Numerous cases in these areas have seriously damaged the image of people's teachers and seriously interfered with and hindered the healthy development of education.

Faced with many strange phenomena of teachers' morality, kind people don't understand: what's wrong with this society? What happened to the teacher? Why is this happening? If we calm down and seriously think and analyze, it is not difficult to find that there are many reasons for the decline of teachers' moral quality:
First, school management is not in place. The author understands that the management of teachers in many schools is very weak. Ask the teacher to attend class in place. As for where the teacher went and what he did after one or two classes, the school ignored him. As a result, people who play cards, mahjong and fishing abound. As for teachers' professional learning, there is little organization. Even once a week's political study is just a trivial matter, and teachers are rarely organized to study educational policies and regulations. The second is school? Law enforcement? Not strict. Knowing that teachers play cards, mahjong and fish during working hours, the school turns a blind eye; Knowing that teachers order teaching AIDS with high kickbacks, the school turns a blind eye and the meeting is very strict, but it only thunders and doesn't rain; Knowing that teachers charge fees or engage in paid tutoring, schools turn a blind eye; In the long run, teachers will do whatever they want and their moral quality will not decline. Third, the consequences of overstaffing. At present, some schools have loose teachers, and some teachers are idle for a period of time, then? Nothing? Looking for what? Things? Do: chat, gossip, talk about the length of others, talk about leadership quality, talk about social injustice, everything. Fourth, when evaluating schools, the education department only pays attention to the quality of teaching, but there is no specific operation method for the evaluation of teachers' morality, and it stays in the absence of problems and problems to be dealt with? Under the new situation, how to strengthen the construction of teachers' morality and constantly improve teachers' personality? The author thinks:
1. We should strengthen our study and improve teachers' understanding.
(1) Strengthen the study of political theory. Schools should earnestly organize teachers to seriously study the party's educational principles and policies and establish a correct outlook on life and values.
(2) Strengthen professional ethics education. Cultivate teachers' high sense of responsibility and dedication to work, and be teachers that students love and people are satisfied with.
(3) Strengthen the study of advanced concepts. Organize teachers to read educational newspapers and periodicals, write reading notes, regularly carry out educational thought salon discussion activities, and guide teachers' educational practice with advanced ideas.
2. Realize the three combinations and enhance the effectiveness of education.
(1) Combine teachers' morality education with daily work. Schools should care, understand and be considerate of teachers in their daily work, do practical things and do good things for teachers, and enhance the appeal and influence of teachers' morality construction in serving teachers wholeheartedly.

3. Effectively improve the treatment of teachers and arouse their enthusiasm.
The construction of teachers' morality should pay special attention to the treatment of teachers. As a school, on the one hand, we should do a good job of explanation, and don't let petitions, strikes and siege of the government happen because of living allowances and subsidies; On the other hand, we should do everything possible to improve the welfare of teachers and fully mobilize their enthusiasm for work. 4. Strengthen supervision and implementation? Great evaluation system?

First, students evaluate teachers. Through holding a forum and conducting a questionnaire survey, we can truly understand the image of teachers in the eyes of students.
Second, parents evaluate teachers. Set up a parent mailbox, and welcome parents to put forward valuable opinions on the teaching work of schools and teachers in written form; Visit regularly and hold parent-teacher conferences to listen to parents' opinions on teachers' teaching work.
The third is social evaluation teachers. The school keeps in touch with the community and neighborhood committees, visits the off-campus counselors in the school where the teachers are located, and keeps abreast of their evaluation information on teachers.
5. Dealing with the construction of teachers' morality is not soft.
As the saying goes: Without rules, there would be no Fiona Fang. So is the construction of teachers' morality.

6. Strengthen teachers' mental health education.
Schools should organically combine mental health education with the construction of teachers' morality, cultivate teachers' good mentality, treat education with gratitude, pay attention to society, and overcome jealousy, red eye and comparison psychology. Laugh at the right and wrong in the world with a healthy attitude, and be grateful to people and things in society with a contented attitude.
Of course, the construction of teachers' morality is a systematic project.
