Abai's achievements

In the spirit of critical realism, Abai wrote many works to expose social ills, lash out at bad habits of life, and attack the upper class and national scum. Among these poems, My Kazak, The more I get older, the more I regret, and Kuliemubai are all influential works.

Abai accurately grasped the essential characteristics of all kinds of people, vividly outlined their faces with extremely refined pen and ink, and let them see themselves from the refraction of poetry. In Abai's works, there are also some love poems and poems about women's liberation. Although the number is small, they have a great influence on schools, especially among young people. Abai expressed deep sympathy for the trampled love under the feudal system. His poems are his strong support for those who resist feudal ethics.
