The Background of Du Fu's Writing Wang Yue: Wang Yue's Original Text and Translation

1. Background: This poem was written in 736 when Du Fu was traveling to Qi and Zhao at the age of 25. It was at the time when his mind was in full swing, and he climbed Mount Tai, the head of the Five Mountains. He expressed his ambition through the mountains and was uninhibited. Full of imagination throughout. Du Fu claimed to be a young and wild old man, who was known as Du Shaoling and Du Gongbu. Han nationality, Gongyi, Gongxian County, Henan Province, now Zhengzhou, originally from Xiangyang, Hubei Province. Life is rough. Du Fu lived in the historical period from prosperity to decline in the Tang Dynasty, and his poems were mostly about social unrest, political darkness and people's sufferings. His famous poem Wang Yue was created under this background.

3. Translation:

How majestic is Mount Tai? Walking out of Qilu, you can still see the green peak. The magical nature brings together thousands of beautiful scenery, and the south of the mountain separates the morning and the evening. Layers of white clouds, cleaning up the gullies in the chest; Return to the bird and fly into the eye of the scenery. We must climb the peak of Mount Tai and overlook the mountains, full of lofty sentiments.
