After the prosperous Tang dynasty, the theory of artistic conception began to take shape in an all-round way; Wang Guowei is always successful, and his "The Thorn on Earth" can be said to be the epitome of China's artistic conception theory.
Definition of artistic conception: Artistic conception refers to the poetic space with infinite charm presented in lyric works, which is full of scenes, virtual reality and active in the rhythm of life; If the typical image is a single image, then the artistic conception is an image system composed of several images, and it is an advanced form of literary image as a whole image.
First, artistic features
The artistic features of literary artistic conception are mainly manifested in four aspects: scene blending, virtual reality, life rhythm and endless charm. There are three types of scene fusion, namely, hiding feelings in the scene, seeing the scene in the emotion, and scene combination. Reality refers to the scenery, shape and environment directly described, also known as "real environment", "event environment" and "material environment".
Virtual realm refers to the aesthetic imagination space induced and developed by the real world, also known as "poetic space". On the one hand, it is the extension and expansion of the original picture in association, on the other hand, it is also the "spiritual realm", "situation" and "spiritual realm" accompanying this specific association.
As the life rhythm of human mind, literary artistic conception has three characteristics, one is to express sincere feelings, the other is to express flying interests, and the third is to convey the spiritual interests of all things. In the late Tang Dynasty, Si Kongtu founded the theory of "lasting appeal". Liu Xizai's classification of artistic conception: flowers and birds lingering, clouds and thunder struggling, string spring suffocating, snow and moon empty and bright. Wang Guowei's classification: Where there is me, there is no me. Wang Guowei put forward the classification method of artistic conception in "The Thorn on Earth", that is, "the realm with me" and "the realm without me". "There is my realm" refers to the artistic conception with relatively straightforward feelings and distinct tendencies.
For example, in Du Fu's "Spring Hope", "The petals have flowed like tears, and the solitary bird has sung its grief". Flowers and plants have no tears, and birds will not be frightened by people's departure. Just because poets are sad, they all have human feelings; This is "my field" and "realm without me" does not mean that the author does not care about the appearance in the picture;
It refers to the artistic conception picture with subtle emotions. Tao Yuanming's "picking chrysanthemums under the hedge, leisurely seeing Nanshan" is "a land without me" Although the author himself appears in the picture, his emotions are hidden, so that readers can experience everything from the picture.
Therefore, "no self" is just that emotions are not exposed, not that there are no emotions and tendencies. "No self" is only in terms of surface environment.
