All the books, tables and notes in the book; A volume of Jing Jie, Shi Lun, Kai Ji and its preface and postscript; Four volumes of quotations and two volumes of questions and answers; Distinguish between two volumes; Book seven volumes; Mixed with a volume; A volume of mourning and eulogy; Describe a volume; Eight-volume chronicle; Five volumes of poetry. Yang, together with You Zuo, Lu Dalin and Xie, are called four disciples, and they are highly valued by Cheng Hao. After he returned to the south, he was regarded as an "authentic Cheng family" by southeast scholars. He believes in the idealistic view of "knowing things first". His knowledge spread to Luo Congyan in Shaxian County, and Luo spread to his teacher. Therefore, later scholars regard Shi Yang as one of the core figures of Zhu Cheng's Neo-Confucianism, and this collection is the master of Shi Yang's Neo-Confucianism. In the book, Shi Yang emphasized the importance of the study of the Six Classics, arguing that "the Six Classics have their own strange principles"; If you put aside the Six Classics and seek the Tao, then "the more you learn, the farther the Tao goes". It is believed that The Book of the Doctrine of the Mean covers the origin of the study of saints and is generous in human virtue. He borrowed the "sincerity" in The Doctrine of the Mean to explain Cheng Hao and Cheng Yi's theory of "knowing and doing things by measuring things" and developed it, holding that "knowing things must precede measuring things, and then knowing things". He also developed Cheng Cheng's theory of "one reason is different" and applied it to Confucian moral concepts and philosophy of life. He believes that if we act according to this moral concept, we can be integrated with "heaven". Shi Yang inherited Cheng Cheng's viewpoint and attached importance to The Analects of Confucius, Mencius and Great Learning. He believes that Mencius "is only for rectifying people's minds, teaching people to be kind and reassuring". It is sincere to emphasize the university's "self-cultivation, keeping the family in order, governing the country and leveling the world". Shi Yang's simple style of writing is authentic for a generation of Confucian scholars. This book is an important reference for studying Shi Yang Thought.
