Liu Ji, that is, Liu Bowen, is proficient in classics and history, especially the study of longitude and latitude, which makes him better than others. In the 19th year of Zheng Zheng (1359), Zhu Yuanzhang heard the names of Liu Ji and Song Lian and invited them. He wrote a book which expounded 18 current affairs strategies and was highly praised. Participate in planning and pacifying Zhang Shicheng, Chen Youliang and the Northern Expedition to the Central Plains.
He assisted Zhu Yuanzhang, the founder of the Ming Dynasty, to complete his imperial career, founded the Ming Dynasty, and maintained national stability, so he became famous all over the world and was compared to Zhuge Wuhou by later generations. Zhu Yuanzhang repeatedly called Liu Ji "my ovary" (Liu Bowen is my Sean).
Second, Gao Qi
At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, Gao Qi lived in seclusion in Wusong in the clear autumn, calling himself the clear autumn son. In the first year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1368), Gao Qi was called to the DPRK and was awarded the editing of the Hanlin Academy, responsible for compiling yuan dynasty history; The imperial court wanted to seal the right assistant minister, but Gao Qi refused to accept it. After returning to his hometown, he made a living by teaching.
Gao Qi has a gift for poetry, and his poems are fresh and extraordinary, bold and heroic, and he is especially good at seven-character songs.
Wei Guan, the magistrate of Suzhou, restored the old base of the government, and Gao Qi wrote Liang Wen for this purpose; Because the old government base was originally the site of Zhang Shicheng Palace, someone falsely accused Wei Guan of disloyalty and Wei was punished. Gao Qi was also punished and beheaded.

Song Lian was ill since childhood, and his family was poor, but he was smart and studious, so he was known as a "child prodigy". He was employed by Ji Meng, Wu Lai, Liu Guan, Huang Cheng and others. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, he resigned from the imperial court and ordered monks to write books. In the early Ming Dynasty, he was hired by Zhu Yuanzhang and was honored as a teacher of the Five Classics, giving lectures for Prince Zhu Biao.
In the second year of Hongwu (1369), he was ordered to major in Yuan history. Most of the court etiquette was formulated for him when he was tired of being an official and learned the imperial edict from the Hanlin bachelor.
Hongwu ten years (1377), resigned as an old man and returned to his hometown. Later, because his eldest grandson was involved in the Hu case, Zhu Yuanzhang wanted to kill him, but at the urging of the empress dowager, he was exiled to Maozhou (now Maoxian County, Sichuan Province) by his whole family. In the 14th year of Hongwu (138 1), he died in Kuizhou (now Fengjie, Chongqing) on May 20th at the age of 72. On his deathbed, he sat with his hands folded, and from time to time officials from Kuizhou came to cry and offer sacrifices.
In the history of China literature, Song Lian, Liu Ji and Gao Qi are listed as "the great poets in the third day of Ming Dynasty", and they are also called "the great poets in the third day of Ming Dynasty" together with Liu Ji and Fang Xiaoru. And it is "the first of the founding ministers of the Ming Dynasty". He took it as his responsibility to inherit the Confucian orthodoxy, advocated "learning from the past" and "learning from the past" for his own writings, and borrowed from the Tang and Song Dynasties, which made his works rich.
His works are represented by biographical sketches and narrative essays, and his biographies are exquisite and concise. Famous works include Biography of Wang Mian, Biography of Li Yi and Records of Qin Shi. Prose is simple and clear, or elegant and graceful, with its own characteristics. Zhu Yuanzhang called him "the first civil servant in the founding of the People's Republic of China", Liu Ji praised him as "the first article today" and scholars from all directions called him "Tai Shigong".
