At that time, Solomon gathered all the elders of Israel, the heads of tribes and the heads of families of Israel to Jerusalem to bring up the ark of the Lord from the city of David and Zion. So all Israel assembled to the king before the seventh month. When all the elders of Israel came, the Levites took up the ark. The priests and Levites brought up the ark, the tent of meeting and all the holy utensils of the tent of meeting. King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel gathered to him offered sacrifices of sheep and oxen before the ark, which could not be counted. The priests carried the ark of the Covenant of the LORD into the inner sanctuary, the most holy place, and put it under the wings of the cherubim. The cherubim spread their wings and covered the ark and its bars. This pole is very long, and its head can be seen in front of the inner hall, but not outside the hall, and it is still there until now. There were only two stone tablets in the ark, which Moses put on Horeb when the LORD made a covenant with the Israelites after they left Egypt. Other than that, there is nothing else.
At that time, all the priests there had consecrated themselves, regardless of class. When they came out of the sanctuary, the Levites Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, their sons and brothers, who sang, stood on the east side of the altar, beating cymbals, lyres and harps, and one hundred and twenty priests sounded trumpets with them. The trumpeters and singers all speak together, and their voices are one, praising and thanking God. Blow trumpets and cymbals, and sing praises to the Lord with various musical instruments, saying:
The Lord is good, and his mercy endures forever.
At that time, the temple of the Lord was full of clouds, so that the priests could not stand and serve, because the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God. (Chronicle 5: 1- 14 and this edition)
1. By Solomon's hand, God fulfilled God's will and built the temple. According to all the complete achievements indicated by God through David, the priests carried the ark of God into the most holy place of the temple with their shoulders, and the glory of God filled the temple.
2. Jesus came to this world according to God's will and was crucified for our sins. Jesus Christ takes his own body as the temple, and God makes a covenant with us in the temple, so that we can enter Christ and serve God with Christ's heart. God showed his glory and love through Christ. When we accept Christ as our savior, God's love fills our hearts and shows God's glory in those we are saved.
