Time flies like running water. In a blink of an eye, I have worked in the company for more than two years. Before that, the shipbuilding industry was like a blank sheet of paper to me, because I had never understood it, let alone touched it.
At school, my major is electrical operation and control. After graduation, I was assigned to Baosteel to do logistics work for one year. By chance in XX, I was lucky enough to come to Jiangnan Changxing Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. After I entered the company, I was assigned to the module department. Because I got the intermediate certificate of electrician in school, I chose the job of ship electrician. From then on, I became an electrician in the superstructure. I've only seen big ships on TV before. Unexpectedly, I can not only see them now, but also become a shipyard myself.
Just arrived at the factory, because we are all new employees, so we received military training for nearly a month. We don't know much about shipbuilding, and some people can say that they don't know what shipbuilding is. So the department arranged a teacher training for us to teach us. From how to connect a simple fluorescent lamp to how to connect various devices. Teach us how to learn to read drawings, and also teach us the requirements and techniques of construction. In short, they are laying the foundation for our future work.
As the company slowly entered the formal stage, the department set up two electrician groups for us. I was assigned to electrician group 2. There are three old masters in our group who have worked in the old factory for several years. Both work experience and technology are of great help to me. Under their leadership, our group began to build the first ship. From the beginning of making the structure, I just learned by doing. I immediately asked Lao shifu if he didn't understand. Unexpectedly, with the concerted efforts of our team member Qi Xin, the construction task was successfully completed and was praised by the department. This makes me feel sweet psychologically, as if I felt the joy of success. But before long, I faced a major challenge, that is, cable laying. I haven't done it before, let alone such a big workload. Looking at those dozens of barrels of cables and so many confused systems, I began to panic and didn't know what to do. But the master told me not to worry, as long as I study hard and have strong hands-on ability, there is nothing I can't do. Then I was put in charge of the deck of the ship by the team leader. It was the first time I faced such a difficult task, and I didn't have the confidence to finish it. Because this floor also covers a lot of electrical equipment in the kitchen. At the beginning, you will encounter all kinds of problems and difficulties, whether it is drawings or which system. Because this is my first time to do it. However, due to the careful guidance of the teacher and the help of my colleagues, I successfully completed the task.
It didn't take long for our team to complete all the construction tasks and successfully passed the self-inspection, ship inspection, shipowner inspection and acceptance. We didn't affect the progress of the project until the installation and wiring of the equipment and the final debugging stage. Looking at all the fluorescent lights, all the minutes show the time normally, all the speakers hear wonderful music, and the telephones of all departments keep normal calls. The washing machine can also wash clothes, the kitchen equipment can also cook and eat, and all systems can operate normally. By this time, our work has basically ended. Seeing this, I think of every drop of sweat we shed at that time and every minute of extra work. I feel extremely proud and nostalgic, and I have a sense of success. Because those successes have the contribution of each of us, even a trivial little screw.
Time is running out, work experience is increasing day by day, and professional skills have been significantly improved. So with the help of the master and the arrangement of the leader, I once again accepted a new challenge, that is, the cab. Because the cab is the core part of the superstructure, every system should start from here, and important equipment and systems such as bridge console, radar and radio station are concentrated here. So it is more difficult to do, but it is also the job that can learn the most technology. So I concentrate. Learn by doing. I don't know. Ask the master right away. The drawings of each system should also be read carefully. In this way, with the help of the master, my first taxi was successfully completed. Moreover, I was lucky enough to go on a sea trial, which was also my first voyage, and it was on such a big ship. I used to hear people talk about the trial, and I always wondered when I could go, but I didn't expect it to happen so soon.
After building a few ships, I feel that I really have mastered a lot of things. I know how many systems there are on board, the function of each system, what the radio system does, what the navigation system includes, and the operation of the air conditioning and refrigeration system.
Now I can basically complete the task assigned by the team leader independently. You can also debug laundry equipment, kitchen equipment and other systems yourself. In the face of one drawing after another, I am no longer strange, and I am no longer worried about not understanding it. When I encounter one system after another, I am no longer afraid that I can't finish it.
From June 5438 to February this year, I successfully passed the first preliminary contest, and then I successfully passed the second semi-final and entered the final. Unexpectedly, I didn't make it into the top three in our final eight. But I am not discouraged, and I have never regretted this competition. Perhaps it is because my professional knowledge is not tough enough and my technology is not exquisite enough, so I will continue to work hard, and I am also grateful to the companies and departments for giving me this platform and opportunity to show myself.
I didn't know what the concept of shipbuilding was from the beginning, and now I have become a professional shipbuilding worker; From being unfamiliar with drawings at the beginning to being skilled now, this step-by-step growth is not so smooth, and the ups and downs are unforgettable. At the same time, it is also inseparable from the careful teaching of the master and the wholehearted help of colleagues. I will continue to work hard towards the distant sunrise.
