Personal introduction:
Yu Xinjiao, whose original name was Yu Xinqiao, 1968, was born in Fujian and his ancestral home was Shaoxing, Zhejiang. He is one of the outstanding contemporary thinkers and representative poets in China. His widely circulated poems include The Last Lyric Poem, His masterpiece Longing for Heroes, Epitaph and so on. And many long poems with forward-looking spirit to contemporary China, as well as novels, plays and theoretical works. 1993, when Yu Xinjiao, a famous poet, gave a lecture in Shanghai and Hangzhou universities, he formally proposed and devoted himself to promoting the Renaissance in China. He believes that this is a movement of all-round rejuvenation of mankind and a movement that shoulders the dual mission of social justice and cultural reconstruction for the Chinese nation.
In July of the same year, Yu Xinjiao published the article "Initiating the Renaissance Movement in China" in the monthly magazine Starlight, which aroused the response of many famous social figures such as Wang Meng. At the same time, many suggestions were received. Yu Xinjiao accepted the suggestions of many participants and supporters, and formally changed the reference of China Renaissance Movement to "China Cultural Renaissance Movement". In the next few years, dozens of writers, poets and scholars, under the banner of "China Cultural Renaissance Movement", preached the freedom of culture, thought and religion that was not bound by political ideology. Then, in 2006, a high-level and wide-ranging discussion about the revival of Chinese culture and China culture was initiated at home and abroad.
Yu Xinjiao began painting in the late 1980s. He is an indispensable member of Yuanmingyuan Art Village. Yu Xinjiao's paintings, just like himself, surpass the usual painters and oil paintings in thought. Overseas professionals predict that Yu Xinjiao's works are gradually showing inestimable artistic value and space potential of the art market.
