What are Lin Huiyin’s masterpieces?

1. In terms of literature, Lin Huiyin wrote many works, including prose, poetry, novels, scripts, translations and letters. His representative works include "You Are the April Day in the World", the novel "Ninety-Nine Degrees", "Collected Poems of Lin Huiyin" (1985), etc. In March 1931, Lin Huiyin went to a bungalow near Shuangqing Villa in Xiangshan to recuperate. He has successively published poems such as "That Night", "Who Loves This Constant Change", "Still", "Enthusiasm", "A Peach Blossom", "A Summer Night in the Mountains", "Laughing", "Hearing Music in the Late Night", "Willing" and short stories. He has dozens of poems including novels "Embarrassment", "One Day", "Excitement", "Daydream", and "Meditation"; the drama "Mei Zhen and Them"; and the short story "Embarrassment". There are also essays such as "Beyond the Window" and "A Piece of Sunshine".

In terms of architecture, Lin Huiyin assisted Liang Sicheng in completing the first draft of the "History of Chinese Architecture" and the draft of the "Illustrated Catalog of the History of Chinese Architecture" written in English. At the request of the People's Liberation Army, he compiled the "National Cultural Relics and Ancient Buildings Catalog" . From September 1949 to June 1950, he also collaborated with Liang Sicheng to write academic papers such as "Urban Planning Outline" and "Historical Stages of Chinese Architecture Development". He has written more than 10 popular books introducing ancient Chinese architecture for publications such as "New Observation".
