What ideas does Shevchenko's works mainly express?

Early poems were in the form of Ukrainian folk songs, full of romantic colors, and published poems such as The Singer of Kobza, the long poem Catalina, and the long lyric epic Haidamak. After graduation, he established his belief in revolutionary democracy, and created many realistic poems that opposed the rule of the czar and called on the people to rise up and resist, such as the political satire Dream, the long poem Caucasus and the Will. Soon he was arrested and exiled by the czar authorities. During his exile, he created autobiographical novels such as Musician and Artist. After his release, he wrote poems with strong political nature, such as Destiny and Glory, calling for resistance to the tyranny of the czar and serfdom. Shevchenko's poetry creation has a great influence on Ukrainian literature, and he is regarded as the founder of modern Ukrainian literature and the founder of Ukrainian language and literature.
