This language comes from Liu Xie's "Wen Xin Diao Long Shi Ming". The original text is: "Only the Ji is bright and profound, so it can be marked." Modern Chinese means: only Ji Kang's poetic sentiment is lofty and serious, and Ruan Ji's poetic theme is far-reaching; So their achievements are higher than those of contemporary poets.
Ruan Ji grew up under the influence of his father Ruan Yu and his family, and was deeply influenced by Confucian orthodoxy. When the Wei and Jin Dynasties were changing and the politics was dark, he tried his best to stay away from the whirlpool with debauchery, and together with Ji Kang and others, he achieved the so-called "beginning sound".
