This book tells a touching story of three people, old and young, who tried to protect a small mulberry tree. The story originated from a little girl named Tingting, who raised eight silkworms because they lived in a community and there were no mulberry trees. There were no more mulberry leaves, so Tingting asked Grandpa Jin for help. In the process of asking for help, Tingting asked Grandpa Jin if he had raised silkworms when he was a child. Grandpa Jin said that he had raised silkworms, but he never let them get hungry. Ah! Grandpa Jin forgot that Tingting came to him because there were no mulberry leaves. Tingting was even sadder and began to cry with shame.
Later, an old man and a young man talked about whether there were mulberry trees in the community. Tingting returned home with such a question. After Tingting left, Grandpa Jin put on light shoes and went out to help Tingting find out if there were any mulberry trees in the community. When looking for them, Grandpa Jin saw the boy sitting in the distance. He was about seventeen years old this year. His parents both died ten years ago, and the sudden disaster scared the young child silly. Now he has the IQ of a five-year-old child. I heard that Grandpa Jin was helping Tingting find mulberry leaves, and he also asked to look for them with Grandpa. He asked countless "why" along the way, but none of them were mulberry leaves. When they were about to leave, there was a small mulberry tree in several jujube trees. Finally, Tingting sat down a few days later. Grandpa Jin carefully moved the small mulberry tree to Shagouzi Community. They planted the small mulberry tree in the soil. After a few days, the small mulberry tree really lived. Tingting made a small wood chip with the words "Tingting's Tree" on it.
However, the arrival of this small mulberry tree broke the tranquility of the community. Twenty years later, there was a surprise for Grandpa Jin, who was downstairs. After a while, all the neighbors in the neighborhood came, and the familiar people in the neighborhood came back from other places!
After the story is over, it makes me feel tingting and sit. Grandpa is desperate to protect the little mulberry tree, and there are poems written by Grandpa Jin Bo at the back of each story. His poems are all related to this book.
