The second sentence describes the isolated city on the fortress: the city is "isolated" and "one piece", with many mountains as high as Wan Ren. The last two sentences turn from scenery to people. Hearing "Yang Liuzhi" played by Qiangdi in the wind immediately aroused the homesickness of border guards and soldiers.
