Li Bai’s representative poetry

About Li Bai's representative poems are as follows:

1. "About to Enter the Wine"

If you don't see it, the water of the Yellow River will come up from the sky and rush to the sea never to return. Don't you see, the bright mirror in the high hall has sad white hair, and it looks like blue silk in the morning and turns to snow in the evening. If you are proud of life, you must have all the joy, and don't let the golden bottle stand empty against the moon. It is my nature that my talents will be useful, and I will come back after all my money has been spent. Cooking sheep and slaughtering cattle is a pleasure, and you will have to drink three hundred cups at a time. Master Cen, Dan Qiusheng, is about to drink wine, but don’t stop drinking.

A song with you, please listen to me. Bells, drums, delicacies and jade are not expensive, but I hope I will stay drunk and not wake up. In ancient times, all the sages were lonely, but only the drinkers left their names. In the old days, King Chen had a banquet and a lot of fun and banquets. What does the master mean when he has less money? It is up to you to decide what to sell. The five-flowered horse and the golden fur will be exchanged for fine wine, and I will sell the eternal sorrow with you.

This is a wild poem, but it hides Li Bai’s sadness and indignation that his talent was not appreciated.

Li Bai was disappointed, but he immediately became high-spirited and said, "I am born with talents that will be useful, and I will come back after all my gold is gone." Faced with the unsatisfactory life, Li Bai resorted to drinking to drink and enjoy himself in time.

He advised his friends to drink: life is short, and sages are lonely. It is better for us to drink, sing, and be happy.

Many people like to recite "About Drinking" because Li Bai writes boldly, confidently and heartily about drinking to relieve his worries. Many people want to dream back to the Tang Dynasty and see the heroic Li Bai with their own eyes.

2. "Looking at the Lushan Waterfall"

The incense burner in the sunshine produces purple smoke, and you can see the waterfall hanging in front of the river in the distance. The flying stream plummeted down three thousand feet, and it was suspected that the Milky Way had fallen into the sky.

Li Bai's imagination is wonderful and romantic, as evidenced by this song "Wanglu Mountain Waterfall". Li Bai looked at the Lushan Waterfall from a distance and said: The incense burner slowly raised clouds of white smoke, misty among the green mountains and blue sky, turning into a purple cloud under the rays of the red sun. The waterfall hangs like a bead curtain in front of the mountain, as if three thousand feet of water are rushing straight down. Could it be that the Milky Way is falling from the sky between the cliffs.

3. "Quiet Night Thoughts"

The bright moonlight in front of the bed is suspected to be frost on the ground. Raise your head to look at the bright moon, lower your head to think about your hometown.

It is said that "Silent Night Thoughts" is the most widely spread poem among Tang poems. Regardless of whether it is in the south or the north, at home or abroad, almost everyone in China can recite this poem. In the 14th year of Kaiyuan of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, on a night with few stars, Li Bai looked at the bright moon in the sky and felt homesick, so he wrote this famous poem "Thoughts on a Quiet Night" that has been passed down through the ages.
