Yuan Kejia, a poet of the Nine Leaves School, once mentioned that when he was studying at the National Southwest Associated University, he was excited when he read Feng Zhi's sonnets, as if he had witnessed the appearance of a comet. There has never been such a poem in the new poetry world.
His influence is not limited to poets studying at National Southwest United University. Lv Yuan, a famous poet and translator, is a representative poet of July Poetry School, which can be compared with Jiuye Poetry School. He started with Feng Zhiyuan's poems and wrote ten poems, which continued to extend and develop Feng Zhi's image. They are all good poems. Undoubtedly, its success is the foundation and inspiration given by Feng Zhi.

In Zhu Xiang's introduction, I mentioned the introduction and adoption of western sonnets. If Zhu Xiang is the first poet who successfully applied sonnets to China's vernacular poems, then Feng Zhi is a poet who successfully China sonnets and achieved a high degree of unity in the history of vernacular poems.
His sonnets are of milestone significance to the maturity of China's vernacular poems. Although Wang Guangming spoke highly of Zhu Xiang's sonnets, I also think that the achievement of Zhu Xiang's sonnets was not easy at least in his time, but it was not as open and closed as Feng Zhi.

Sonnet style has the structure of connecting the past with the future, which is suitable for expressing the opening, unfolding, reappearing and ending of a single thought, and Feng Zhi's sonnet song, his creative direction is precisely the description of everything.
In the preface, he said, from the immortal spirit in history to the unknown rural children and peasant women, from distant famous cities to flying insects and grass on the hillside, from short personal life to many people's experiences, I wrote a poem about everything that is closely related to my life. It just avoided the above shortcomings of Feng Zhi and gave him the necessary constraints.
